I've actually just got done redoing the rules/art categories somewhat, so now as per the new rules (the changes are mostly in the "minimums" section) there are four categories: Fic, Vids, Art (Drawn/Digital) and Art (Graphics). I may continue to tweak the categories, and exactly what goes in each of them, between now and signups, but this seems like a workable division to me. That way, if you don't want gifs you could avoid that by excluding the Graphics category (though you's also lose wallpapers and icons).

ETA: Obviously input is still welcome; this is all tentative. :D Do you think that'll work?
