Signups are now closed! I will work on matching today; assignments should go out this evening or tomorrow, depending upon participant matchability.

Since I hadn't run matching yet (I'll be doing it this evening), I had someone express regret about missing the deadline and opened signups again for a couple of hours so they have an opportunity get in. If you, too, regretted missing the deadline and would still like to sign up, it'll be open again for just a couple of hours, 'til 5 p.m. Alaska time, and then I'll close signups and run the matching algorithm.

All assignments have been sent! You should receive your assignment email shortly. You can also find it under Assignments on your AO3 page.

If you didn't get your assignment or have a problem with it, please contact me immediately! I'm screening comments to this post to make that easier. (I will unscreen all non-assignment-related comments unless you request otherwise.) You can also send me a PM.

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy your assignment and I hope you're excited about it! I will put up some posts in the next few days to help generate ideas and enthusiasm, and to help people find beta readers and brainstorming partners.

There are no initial pinch hits, but any pinch hits that come up will be posted here and at ssrconfidential on Tumblr, so follow this comm for those. You can also start working on treats immediately, whether or not you're signed up. If you'd like to find someone to treat, you can look at all the requests here or also check the letters post.

One more mod note

We lowered the fic minimum to 500 words this year, from 1000 words in previous years, but I realized when I looked at my assignment email that while I changed it in the rules, I completely forgot to change it in the assignment footer. If you are signed up as a fic writer, you only have to write 500 words minimum, no matter what your assignment email says.

All other information in the assignment email (deadlines, etc) is correct.
